The 13th Zodiac Sign

Every day. Every week and Every month you look forward to reading your horoscopes. The excitement and fun of reading the details of how our day, week or months is suppose to be. As many of you know I write all my horoscopes personally. I never copy them from other horoscopes or computer generate them. I take the time to write them all personally. What if....your sun sign was not what you thought it to be. What if....your sun sign was different. Who would you be?
There are sun signs in our zodiac from Aries through Pisces. Our zodiacs usually begin on the 20th of one month and end on the 19th of the next month. In the cosmos our zodiac signs are as follows:

The dates of the zodiacs aren't traditionally from what we have always follow them. It could explain why sometimes you find yourself thinking "That is nothing like me". Whenever you read a horoscope and discover that the horoscope does not suit anything that is happening to you try reading the horoscope that is corresponding to the sign above.
The 13th zodiac sign is Ophiuchus. It is one of the main reasons why the sun sign dates do not correspond to the dates of what we are use to seeing all our lives. Ophiuchus is seen in the sky as a man grasping a serpant possibly trying to protect the Gods from evil. It depends on who's interpretation you want to believe but it can help to interpret a possiblity of who you might be. Some modern astrologers use the 13th zodiac as part of their studies. I will stick to the traditional 12 zodiac signs.
There is very little information regarding this 13th zodiac sign and how it can affect your daily life. If you were born during the sign of Ophiuchus then you still want to read your Sagittarius horoscopes. My theory is that the zodiac sign of Ophiuchus is suppose to represent courage and protection then the sign of Sagittarius seems to fit many of those same traits. I would not worry that you may not be who you thought you were but to understand that you may also have additional characteristics traits in you.
I always also add to that you want to also find out what your rising sign is from your birth chart. The rising sign is the sign found on your ascendant or first house of your birth chart. It will also add additional information about you as a person. You may be a Pisces but with a Leo rising sign you may have more Leo traits in you. The more information you get about yourself the more the horoscopes can make sense for you. If you read both your sun sign horoscope and rising sign horoscope then you will gain a greater understanding about yourself.
As you just discovered you may not the zodiac sign that you thought you were. I suggest to stick to what you know but it could be fun to also read the horoscopes corresponding from the zodiac sign above but also your rising sign. You can determine at that point what makes sense and what sign to read and follow for the horoscopes.
